University Sexual Harassment Investigation Board (USHIB)

The USHIB is comprised of faculty, staff and students appointed by the chancellor and trained to investigate complaints involving allegations of sexual assault.

The USHIB investigates and decides how the university will resolve complaints referred to it by the university’s Title IX coordinator or the student conduct administrator and may impose sanctions, including those identified in the student judicial code, up to and including suspension and expulsion.

Read the Student Title IX Grievance Process and the Student Gender Equity Grievance Process on the Gender Equity and Title IX Compliance Office website for the full text of the procedures for complaints of sexual assault filed against students.
