To report a case...
"Any member of the university community" can file a complaint against a student or student group (Code, V.A.2). If you are a victim, a witness, or have information about a student conduct matter, there are two different procedures to follow depending upon the type of misconduct.
General Misconduct
This applies primarily to violations of the University Student Judicial Code. If you are uncertain whether the act of misconduct in question violates the university's judicial code: when in doubt, report it.
To report an act of misconduct:
Contact the Judicial Administrator, Tamara King. It is important for any complaint against a student or students to be submitted in writing before any other actions can be taken. Complaints regarding misconduct may be e-mail directly to Mrs. King or they may be typed in a letter and either sent to Campus Box 1250 or taken directly to Mrs. King's office located in the Residential Life Center in the South 40 House.
Academic Dishonesty
This applies to violations of the Undergraduate Student Academic Integrity Policy. If you are uncertain whether the act of misconduct in question violates the university's academic integrity policy: when in doubt, report it.
To report and act of academic dishonesty:
Contact the appropriate academic integrity dean for the college of the class in which the violation occurred. It is important for any complaint against a student or students regarding acedemic dishonesty to be submitted in writing before any other actions can be taken. Written complaints may be e-mailed to the appropriate academic integrity dean or may be typed in a letter and mailed to or directly taken to the correct dean's office. If you are uncertain who the appropriate dean is to contact for the situation in question, you may contact Tamara King with any questions.
